The lakefront venue is situated on the east side of Lake Simcoe and consists of several cabins dating from 1870. The Centre is a ‘self serve’ facility, where we will provide our own housekeeping. The Loretto Maryholme Spiritual Centre is a sacred space of peace and beauty, entrusted to the Loretto Sisters and in turn entrusted to us for this retreat. The Centre’s mission statement aligns well with that of a yoga retreat: “to encourage individuals to explore and restore the energies needed for personal and communal transformations.” The property includes a Cosmic Walk, Stations of Light, Memorial Cairn and Garden, Peace Pole, Wildflower Garden as well as walking trails.
